Beiträge zur Totalsynthese von 3-O-Me-Premonensin

Abstract

Die vorliegende Arbeit hat sich mit der Totalsynthese von 3-O-Me-Premonensin sowie weiteren möglichen Biosynthesevorläufern von Monensin A befasst. Diese stellen zum einen potentielle Antibiotika dar. Zum anderen sind sie wertvolle Substrate, um die bis heute nicht vollständig verstandene Biosynthese von Monensin A sowie die der über 120 weiteren Verbindungen der Polyether-Ionophor-Naturstoffklasse aufzuklären.

This work deals with the total synthesis of 3-O-Me-Premonensin as well as the syntheses of possible precursors in the biosynthesis of Monensin A. These are on one hand all possible antibiotic compounds. On the other hand they are valuable substrates for the elucidation of the biosynthesis of Monensin A which is not fully understood yet. Monensin A is one representative of the big natural product family of polyether ionophores (over 120 compounds) this could help to understand the biosynthesis of all these compounds in general.
